Yes -- I've added a day 4 to this week. I just... I just don't think I can do a 3 minute run right now. I feel wonderful once I've completed the workout and today the distance I covered showed that I'm making progress ( Read more... )

Looks like we're on the same timeline on the couch to 5k!

This past week was my second, but I missed two days, so I'm going to repeat it this week. I have 15 weeks until my first 5k!

I'm thinking about getting the Nike + iPod...do you like yours??

Yeah! Someone for me to "keep up" with. My first 5k is in 13 weeks, so I need to keep somewhat on track.

I LOVE the Nike+iPod kit. Now, I'm sure the same thing could be accomplished with a good pair of running shoes and a watch/pedometer. I just like that I listen to the C25K podcast and at the end, after Mr. Ullrey (my running "god") has told me I've done a good job, the iPod lady (I haven't given her a name yet!) tells me how far I ran and how many calories I burned.

I'm also charting the runs and my progress on the Nikeplus website. There are other people in my area that have added their runs which I may try out pretty soon. (MapMyRun.com has these same features)

Maybe it's all in my head or maybe it's just the gadget I need to keep moving -- but I love it.
