I really enjoyed this! I wasn't expecting what you implied in Jim's last letter to Sam -- very moving. The surgery bits were interesting and I liked how Bones got to talk to his little girl at the end. They're clearly one big family, which is a dynamic I love in canon too.

Yes, the camaraderie of ST (and MASH) is a big draw for me, which I tried to capture a bit of in this story. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This was just such a wonderful blend of the ST and MASH worlds, it was hard to tell where one started and the other left off! Lovely, lovely story of family and friendship, it's definitely going to stay with me. :D
