This was sheer win but you've left me wanting more, lots more! I loved Sulu's POV and the world you painted here. Both Jim and Bones were so in character - well done and I hope you can be persuaded to re-visit this verse; I'll pounce to read! Thank you for taking part in our fest!

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! There's a lot of the story living in my head, both Jim & Bones and things like Spock & Joanna's epic north-ward, running-from-zombies adventures - I hope I'll be able to get them out and into pixels in the future. :)

This is absolutely wonderful. I am intrigued and fascinated - you've done a truly lovely job of world-building, and I love Sulu's POV. I do hope you consider writing more in this 'verse - I would love to see more of Jim and Bones' story.

*blushes* I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! I do plan to write more here in the future, both of Jim & Bones and the other ST folk.

I'm not familiar with the source but that was a very clever format, and the way the plot slowly unfolded--as told to a questioner who didn't know anything about it or them--was fascinating. So much packed into such a short space!

Thank you! I can't take any credit for the format, but if you enjoyed it (and zombies), I highly recommend World War Z. The author, Max Brooks, does a very good job of covering the zombie apocalypse from all angles & with a nice global perspective.
