I love all the volumes of mashups that you've posted. Boulevard of Broken Songs was the first mashup I heard, too. My local alternative radio station played it for like all of two days on the air.
I'm glad you like them! And I still can't listen to Boulevard of Broken Dreams without trying to mentally superimpose Oasis on it - the fit is just so perfect. Works better than either original song, imo. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the mixes. :)
ohmonaaaa, are you going to upload this to other file sharing sites? i'd like to download one out of three of them, but my country blocked megaupload. D;
:O I didn't know that megaupload was blocked in some countries. Sorry! I've put the files all up at sendspace as well - will that work for you? If not, let me know what does work and I'll try hosting it there.
As far as which is my favorite... That's a tough question, 'cause I normally try to spread out the absolutely-100%-amazing songs across the albums when I create multi-volume mixes. I think the first volume is the most "club" sounding of the three - there's a bit more rap & hip-hop than on the other two (although there's plenty of pop too). The second one is more pop, and it has more songs from older hits - Police, Eurythmics, Donna Summer, Queen, etc. The third one, I think, has fewer "oh, that's a really clever mashup" moments, but might be the most fun & easiest to listen to of the bunch
( ... )
yeah, it sucks. my country even blocked out thepiratebay and about 7 more sites, i think. 8C yay! sendspace works fine, thank you so much!
oh, your explanation. ♥ might i interest you in marrying me? i'll browse through them & download first thing in the morning; it's 4am right now, ohoho. thanks! ♥
