Sherlock is back on TV and the most disappointing thing about it is knowing that in 3 weeks it'll all be over and then the rest of the year stretches out like an endless void of badly written dross. Well on TV over here at least ( Read more... )

Yeah, there's a lot of sense in what you've written.

Re: the resolution of the poolside cliffhanger...I can't help thinking that it might have been written and shot at the same time (even as part of) the first series and then held over to start this one...

Yeah it did seem quite seamless, not something tacked on the end. I think they did film it later but it fits together very well.

I agree with most of what you've said and wish I could have put it so well.

oh and tongue planted firmly in cheek - there is something sexier than Holmes playing the violin, it's Irene in the Thunderbirds outfit, but I'm odd like that - be well.
