This line is so in character. When I read it I used OB's voice (in my head, I'm not mental..), and sometimes in fanfiction people don't get characters' voices quite right, but you got them both spot on here.

And you gotta love a bit of smut.

Thank you. I was so worried they weren't in character, it's hard to figure out where to go with them. And this was my first smut for Hollyoaks, and this time with guys who weren't all that experienced in same-sex loving. I'm glad it worked OK.

Hi, just found this over on hollyoaks_slash on my search for Max/OB.

I loved it, you captured the characters wonderfully and I love the way that, unlike many fic writers would, you accepted that this was a first for them - they weren't experienced and you used it in the fic to such beautiful effect.

Can I just add, I think that this is the best way anyone has ever summed up Max's motivation:

He'd go back on his hunt for the perfect mother for Tom...

Thanks. There's so little Max/OB slash, at times I think I'm one of the few who was a fan of their relationship. I'm glad someone else also has an interest. I appreciate your praise. You're right, they shouldn't be presented as if this wasn't a first for them.
