OB's pain over Mel's death and his constant thoughts over his relationship with Max is so goddamn realistic. *squeals* I really, *really* need to read more. *hugs you tightly*
I'm so happy to see more OB/Max fans! When I started watching Hollyoaks I was like, "How are they NOT a couple?" and I wondered why they did not get more attention from slashers. Thank you for replying to my story, I am happy to know that there are more OB/Max people out there. They just click so well together, and even on the show, OB has such strong love for Max and feels such pain for him and from him (I was rewatching that episode where Max is in the hospital with his heart attack and OB bitterly says, "I'm not needed here" and my heart breaks for OB and WHOA talk about slashiness personified!). I worry that I'm bogging the story down with too much details of past stories, but to me, they add to the emotions and the drama, or I hope they do. I wasn't sure if anyone would reply to this or not, since I know people will always be busy, so thank you again.
LOL, no problem. XD This fic is totally the best OB/Max one I've read so far. Be proud. And whoa, you rewatched that episode? I wish I could but I have no clue where to find older episodes, lmao. But yeh, keep writing, you're amazing. :P

yay, this is so beautiful. I know myself how fickle partners are but a friend is for life so it's good John Paul and OB have found that together. and lol, the tie that binds most men together, I'm a footy gal myself and I loved that line. The ending is superb, just the right level of sweetness and hope. Well done
Yeah, lots of people love the football, it should be used to help achieve harmony, like with OB and JP :)

I'm not much of a Katy fan, from what I've seen of her, but she's a good change from Nancy/Hannah/Sarah shrieking at him. He's never really had a friend he could just have fun with, maybe that will be Katy.
