Any luck finding his people yet? Any luck finding a new place for him to live if you don't find his people?

If you do post a "found" description up on Craigslist and other sites, you might want to leave the color of his color out. That's the advice the Great Pyrenees rescue group gave me. Apparently some people will try to claim a lost dog when it's not theirs (I got a couple of weird emails asking if I would sell the Pyrenees - boo).

I have emailed 40+ shelters, called many vet offices, posted a listing on the SPCA site, and I just put one in Craig's list: http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/pet/914933506.html

thanks for reminding about that site! I do have one offer to take him, but I haven't heard back from the guy yet. I also have another friend who is a maybe. He's also having a party tomorrow night so I guess the dog has to come with me. ;D

I will keep my fingers crossed for you and Whitey. He looks like a big, sweet thing. I would be interested if I hadn't hit my two dog limit.
