I find it strange that I voted for Ianto being too angsty in fics as a bad thing, considering I've been doing my hardest to prove myself incapable of writing anything /but/ angst in this or any other fandom...

I guess I see a difference between natural angst, that shows how the character has been hurt or screwed up in canon and how they have to deal with that, and annoying, weepy-uke, wear-black-makeup-and-slit-my-wrists angst.

I'm actually surprised he isn't more angsty. His life sucks. A lot. And yet, Owen is more suicidal than he is. Owen jumps into cages with Weevils. xD
