The polls are up for Television Without Pity's annual Tubey Awards, and guess who are nominated for Best Romantic Relationship?

Yep, that's right.  Captain Jack and Ianto.

The Doctor and the Tardis have also been nominated for Best Almost-Romantic-But-Not-Quite Relationship.

Voting started today and will run through July 19th when a new set of polls

Last week or so there was a lot where Torchwood was mentioned, one was "worst dead" and Ianto was nominated, and another was something inside worst storyline "Jack going into the building with no plan and thus killing Ianto" and then there was "worst ending" and one of the options were "day 4".

Needless to say, TWOP think like most of us.

Yeah, I saw those polls in the last round of voting, which amused me greatly. In the weeks to come, we'll know if Ianto's death made the top ten in the category of "Worst WTF moment", or if he made the cut for favorite character. I suppose when the blog's tag-line is "Spare the spark, spoil the networks", TWoP is bound to love a character like Ianto.

In earlier polls they nominated Eve Myles as best actress, but also had Gwen Cooper as a nominee for character that needs to be killed off. I'll just include that withough any comment.
