Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to fill out the poll! In less than 48 hours 85 people actually responded, which considering how fast this comm pushes entries back (because so many people post here!) is very promising!!

With only 3 people who took the poll not interested, I'll be steaming ahead with the comm as fast as is humanly

Hmm...thanks for pointing it out!

It's kind of annoying in a sense, especially since I sort-of-maybe opened an empty comm waaaay back with the name stop_watch to keep the name just in case one day...but ah well.

Guess I'll go a-hunting new names!

You are made of win! It's great that you put the effort in and came up with these!

As I said in the post below, I won't be using avant_garde despite its popularity because of the user with the same name.

I wanted to use innovative, but that was already taken, and most of the others give me the feeling that the new Hitler LJ owners would probably hunt us down and delete us for having 'racy' names...even though I love them!

avant_garde is good, but there's already a user with the name avantgarde, so I think to make it easier I'll choose something a bit different...

All it needs is for someone to miss out the underscore in a post and they'll be linking to some poor unsuspecting Canadian accountant...
