Writer's retreat next week

I'm seriously thinking of renting a nice cabin near Sekiu Sunday through Wednesday next week to do some writing. I can afford the full cost, but it would help if two or three others wanted to come along and contribute a little (I'm thinking $50 a night.) The problem is short notice and bad timing (right before the 4th

Yikes. If I'd had a bit more lead time, I might well go for it, but this close to another trip, I don't think I can. Sounds cool tho. Maybe later in the year?

My own fault, the short notice. But then I just thought of doing this on my drive home from camping last night. (I already have next week off, but no hard plans for the first part of the week.)

Yet, in the limited responses I have gotten so far, the usual question is "Maybe later in the year?"

So, maybe. Perhaps I should post a list of weekends I can reserve the same, or similar, cabin for this fall and see who bites?

I think that's a good plan, actually. I like the idea of doing some retreat time, and that seems like a nice place, so I would certainly have a high probability of being interested, depending on the timing.
