Gibson needs to find his Peter Jackson... anonymous February 5 2006, 05:32:20 UTC
Truly he does. At least < href="http://www.cyberpunkreview.com/movie/decade/1990-1999/johnny-mnemonic/"> Johnny Mnemonic was a fun movie, even if it wasn't a good one. But yeah, it's hard to find a pair of stinkers as bad as New Rose Hotel and No Maps for these Territories (a documentary on Gibson). Gibson's stuff seems like it would be a natural for the big screen, but alas - no such luck. Hope you keep checking out the site, and thanks for the mention!

Hmmm...

Maybe Peter Jackson could be Gibson's Peter Jackson? Nah...

If I were king of the world and choosing, I'd probably pick Joss Whedon. He could transfer Gibson's dialogue well to the big screen, and, as we've seen with Serenity, he's about to produce decent futuristic movies for a relatively cheap price.

Chris Cunningham was attached to Neuromancer for a while. I think he'd be a good match. A couple of videos...
