Temperature Tolerance

Last night, the news had a shocking, hard-hitting news item about how the temperature might drop to (gasp) 32 degrees. People were shown rushing out to buy space heaters.

Californians are wimps. But you Midwesterners that actually put up with snow are suckas.

I may experience snow but I refuse to tolerate it. I let the snow know in uncertain terms that its behavior is unacceptable.

I've often "laid down the law" as regards the behaviour of snow but, alas, have not found such action to be very effective.

I use a similar technique with earthquakes, and have so far had no difficulty in enforcing it.

Have you been stern enough with Snow? He's always showing up my place, but it usually only takes a stern look to get him to stop performing "Informer."
