I can only agree with you. Besides, I always thought (if we're gonna be all scientific or whatever) that most women enjoyed the EMOTIONAL part of slash more than the sexual one (I'm not personally guilty about this however, as I enjoy all aspects of a relationship equally).

I totally agree with you - especially about the fail!heroines part. Almost all the series I watch (live action, disney, anime/manga) the heroines fail. Of course, there are some exceptions (Mulan, for example), most are May Sues or damsels in distress. Now, if you want a series WITHOUT fail!heroines, watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. In my opinion Winry is also a fail!heroine, but a lot of FMA fans don't agree with me on that subject. But, seriously, in FMA there are a lot of kickass heroines (Izumi Curtis, for example) that aren't Mary Sues or damsels in distress. So. Watch it. It rocks ( ... )

I don't like Spock/Kirk (they're just really really REALLY good friends in my eyes. Frodo and Sam pulled it off, but hey), but I admit, some of their pictures are cute and funny xD I have no problem with yaoi, and I don't hate on other couples. But if you get pissed at me for not liking it, that's when I lose respect xD
But yes, this is exactly how I feel. Hell, I've drawn and written gay slash, but... people write it so that it's like... beautiful and sensual and hot and erotic and sex ALWAYS HAPPENS. Like... whut? D:
