So, I have this friend who has tickets to see Madonna in October. I'm, like, totally jealous of said friend! I mean, WOW! Madonna in concert? That would totally be the best time ever, even if the tickets were super expensive and Hard Candy kind of sucks. WHO CARES? It's Madonna! Wow, I wish I was the one with tickets to this show

Congrats on the Madge tix! I'm super-excited myself. My show is on a Sunday, and I'm already halfway planning how I'm going to spend my day. I already know that I'm calling in sick or taking Monday as a personal day. Because it is sort of a religious holiday for me . . .

Oooh, smart idea about the personal day. My show is on a Saturday (I think...) so I have all of Sunday to recover. It's actually the day of that I'm more worried about. I'll probably spend the entire day trying not to vomit from excitement, if I'm being honest. :S

MADONNA! I don't really have any desire to see her live, but just the thought of it is still sort of amazing.

SERIOUSLY! I think it was my sister's videotape of The Girlie Show (which she recorded when it was on TV one day, and we watched a million times until the tape no longer worked) that gave me my first glimpse into the world of amazing concerts back when I was like, seven. So this is going to be pretty epic!
