The Winter Olympics are done and over with, and I am at a complete loss as to how to spend my time. I'm so used to getting up in the mornings and running to the television to find out what I missed while I was sleeping and now...none of that. I'll meet you both there! For real, I've been planning my trip to the Vancouver Olympics since the announcement that the Games were going to be in Van. A few weeks ago, I was even musing out loud about how I'd manage to get the time off, and have been formulating plans in my head!

I was actually thinking about that, myself. I have no idea where I'll be in four years lying in a ditch or in an alley? but I'll make it work! Even if it means living in a cardboard box on the streets of Vancouver for two weeks quitting my job.

you are one of the cutest olympic fans ever! don't be embarassed about crying... it's adorable that someone can love something that much! There aren't enough people on this earth who can be moved by their favourite things... by anything! :)

UMM CINDY KLASSEN AND CLARA HUGHES ARE THE CUTEST GIRLS EVER.

I was super excited when they won and seeing them together on the podium giggling and singing and stuff just made me so happy. Oh man, they're just all kinds of adorable! And that last picture is SO CUTE. Ohhhhhh man.

I think there are lots of us Olympic junkies out there. Any podium featuring a Canadian, especially getting the gold or two Canadians is guaranteed to make me cry. Clara and Cindy, Chandra, Brad Gushue and his mom, Duff Gibson choking up while talking about his dad and Jeff Pain wiping away tear as he listened, Beckie Scott, Becky Keller from the women's hockey team telling her little son that 'they did it' and then sobbing - That one had me sobbing too (my family is friends with her aunt and she was there - every game I watched I was trying to find her in the stands!)It just goes on and on.

Did you donate to Right To Play? Me too! I'd been thinking about it for awhile but Clara was so amazing on CBC I went right for my credit card.

WInter Olympic withdrawal is a bummer, the Summer Games just aren't the same. I am intrigued about how Beijing will pull it all off and I like the swimming and rowing. What's the countdown to Vancouver?!

I don't know! I'm afraid to start counting down the days because I know the number of days will be really huge and it will just make me sadder. 2010 can't come soon enough. (Except that it sort of can because in four years, I'll be...four years older than I am now. *gulp*)

Duff Gibson is NOT old. (small voice)He's only 9 years older than me.(small voice) So not old, not old at all. And he is hot.

So you're a member of the Cult of Clara eh? Just be in the moment! Actually I can see the Clara Movement being all about being tough and cheerful at the same time and being really determined while working harder than anyone else. I could live with that.

Have I told you lately that you're obsession with getting older is highly amusing?
