Musing on 2010/11.......

As we end 2010 and head into 2011, I, like many others, have been really thinking about what direction I want to take with my dolls in 2011. Looking over my purchases for 2010 it's no surprise that the majority of my additions have been Iplehouse. I did add Fairyland's Soso and Pongpong, and Soom's Idealian as well, but Iplehouse continues to be ( Read more... )

Braden is looking so sultry. I love the eyes you have on him too. I think I want to change what I have on my Gentle Akando (Wynn) because it's hard to set the right eye correctly. (?) I can't wait to see your Soo. And I agree about enjoying the dolls you have. I doubled my dolls this year (after a couple year hiatus) and I know I have to slow down. But I'm still so tempted by Bichun and Eva...and Cherry...and then there is a WS Chase and a RS Luo tempting me oh so often. And then I have this grail doll called Williams that I think I was able to snag. LOL. Time will tell...

Thank you! I struggled with eyes for Braden for a long time, but I think I like these. They are Soom. I like the flexibility in the Soom eyes. I think it helps them fit the eye socket better (just my opionion though). I'm really excited about Soo...........Lyn had a really fun idea for her character and I think it's going to be so fun!

I like that you've narrowed your collection to a core group you love. You are an inspiration since I know I NEED to start a serious down sizing of my collection since the majority of them just sit in boxes most of the time!!

Love your handsome Braden!! :)

It's really hard to downsize. My total numbers are still a bit higher than I would ideally like them to be. I've learned to go with the thinking that tinies really don't count in the total numbers since they take up such little space, LOL! And my remaining group of bigger dolls are all dolls I connect with, so I'm happy with that. (for now anyway, LOL!)
