Jack's packing up the last of his clothes--the ones he hadn't managed to rip and smear a few weeks ago. Thankfully, most of these are modern clothes he can wear on the outside without getting eyed.

This was never a long walk before, and it frustrates her some that they couldn't move faster, but mostly Satine is glad she can move at all.

With no prompting, she stops in front of a familiar door and rests her head on Mary Anne's shoulder.

Mary Anne settles one arm lightly around Satine's shoulders.

"You ready?" she asks, her free hand poised to knock.

"Yes." She lifts her head and adjusts her hold on Mary Anne's waist. "Do it now, please."

She nods and raps twice on the door.

"Jack? You there?"
