I could have pulled the Joss Whedon grimmy 'You ripped me out of Heaven' emo on him dealing with being back or handled that he'd realize all this but frankly, I was just so happy to find an actual game-playing trick that required no cheating to get it to work that I was just happy to leave it at that!
But Peter was just happy to see Thomas back to his old self since he'd returned to him just miserable and grungey with despair.
And it's real! Karma's just a princess and has to tell stories like a princess would! After all, Destiny didn't know her Bunny grandfather, at all. She was just a baby when it happened.

Bunny grandfather... you know I thought I was part rabbit, when I was small? We had a print of Durer's painting of a hare and my dad used to tell me it was my Great-Grandmother Bunny. ^_^

I just figured he'd crumble after all that with Peter, then Star. So I mussed up his hair and made him sort of scruffy from stress. Thought it'd be nice to have him renew with Peter's return. I'm just glad I was able to do it with legit mechanics and not cheating! :)
