I almost found a new place to live. It was a close thing - the apartments are too small, and there is no storage space, but other than that, it's practically the Perfect Apartment. The place was renovated by a local landscape architect, Bill Tonnesen, and I really dig his style. His approach is to sandblast away exterior paint and stucco

Hi there! I know you posted this a long time ago, but I thought I'd try to ask you a few questions anyway. My girlfriend and I are moving to Tempe (from Mesa) soon since she's going to ASU for graduate school in the fall. We were extremely interested in Bill Tonnesen's apartments and just met with him today. You're right, they're too small, especially for the price. (That's how I came across this post actually, I googled his name). We're vegan and are interested in living with other queer folk, too. Any recommendations on where to look? Perhaps the same student you met with?
