Wow, I'm actually really impressed! When drawing hair, try to be less messy, and follow the hair strands for a more hair-like appearance. Similarly with eyes, look more closely at the structure of someone's eye and you'll notice that the bottom lid is a lot less round and that the pupils are rarely ever as big as you seem to draw them. /o\
I don't know how old you are or when you started drawing, but you *seem* to have a pretty good handle on shading and capturing a likeness. Keep up the good work and keep progressing :D
Thank you for the critique! Yeah, I see what you're saying about the hair and pupils, I'll try that next time. Though when I was drawing them (or sketching them, rather) I was focusing more on the blocks of value, rather than the tiny minute details. I want to be able to have a strong, how do I say it, base in my work, and have more confidence when I draw or sketch. These are just really quick drawings, had I given them more time they probably would have turned out cleaner and more refined.
I know what you mean by the eye thing, though, I've actually done a pretty good pair of eyes in a self portrait I did a couple months ago.
