Ooooh, -yes-. Amazingly delicious and hot and desperate and emotive and all the lovely hot masculine painful things these two are to each other. I loved it. Thank you.

zoi, thanks for the comment! I was worried (and my beta even more), that this would be too painful, in more than one sense. I still decided to post it the way it came to me. So thanks for the 'lovely hot masculine painful things' comment. That's how I wanted it to come across.

btw - is Tony's stag night ever going to end? *nudge*

Oh no, not at all. But then I love fics that branch away from the world of fluffy bunnies. ;) this pairing is especially suited to teh angst.

Ahh, poor Tony. I have bits and pieces of more, I just haven't had huge amounts of writing time since I got employed again lol. I'll get back to him at some point, ^___^

Omg, this was awesome! Don't even know where to start.

“You'll what? Take it up with me, in my car, while we're driving? Get us both killed?” He redirected his angry glare onto his friend. “Or do you want me to pull over and fight it out? Prove that you won't even land a single punch until I've got you knocked out and cuffed on my back seat? Do you want that, huh?”
The underlying aggression, suppressed emotions and suppressed desire, so many things left unsaid between them.
Loved how you painted each of them so differently in their pain, Jack withdrawn, fighting, holding his head up high and Tony just giving in and letting the pain wash over him.

Loved the little details like this one:

White tiles. Steel grey towels. One single toothbrush in a glass on the sink. On a sideboard, a lone picture of Teri kissing a white-blond toddler. Décor à la Jack.

You capture Tony's pain so very well, it literally hurts in its absolut rawness.

Tony’s confused look almost made Jack bolt. Something about his friend, stranded at his house like a piece ( ... )
