Aw, this was so sweet. I've really been wanting to read a fic that explores the Continuum alt timeline, and you did it so well. The thoughts about "what might have been" to them were heartbreaking.

Oh, beautiful! I like the 'slice of life' take on the prompt and how you worked in the difference between this Jack's life and our Jack's life.

I kind of looked at this as if it were a typical day in the American family. Dinner, laundry, homework, bickering kids. Glad you liked!

Yeah absolutely. Rememeber that sound Sam makes in Into the Fire when they tell her the rest of the team are dead? I swear that's the sound I made the first time I heard Jack saying Charlie was fine. :( *sniffles* It's good for him, but Gah! the rest of the team then have to take that away from him to fix things...
