Arguably if she's in a relationship with House she could get more power over him.
It's one thing to ship House/Wilson, but did you honestly expect it to ever be canon?.. And the TV guide cover is awesome, but the article (also awesome) keeps stressing friendship.
Just don't feel so strongly about this xP You can always ignore canon if you want. That's what fandom is for.
Remember that episode in season 3 where it came out that they slept together once? And in season one where Vogler kept insinuating that they were couple, and House eventually forced her to get rid of him?
In both those cases, even a hint at a relationship between them was a complete monkey wrench. Cuddy became defensive and powerless to stand up to House.
On the other hand, you might be right. Their relationship could place House in a position to actually listen to her more, but then that would screw up HIS role, and that's no good either.
Why on earth should it not be canon? Remember Angel, when his thing with Spike was explicitly hinted at 57 times but never said outright? That was OODLES more fun then actual canonicity would have been. I'd just like them to keep that aspect going! Like with Wilson/Amber, when it was clear that he was just looking for a female House...what House needs is a female Wilson.
I really love that you always respond to my crazy House posts...
I think it could go either way in terms of power. I guess depends on how the writers want to spin it.
Well, I'm not saying the show is straight-only (because hey, 13, even though bi girls are much more popular than guys), but it has been made clear that both House and Wilson are straight many time. But yeah that was a lot of fun in terms of them looking at their relationship from a new angle when Amber showed up. (also is that from Buffy? I've never watched it... *runs off*)
p.s. Hahaha, sure xD I was just like "Don't kill the writers! It's just a tv show ;_; Go read fic!" xDDD
13's sexuality was brought up completly out of the blue in the same episode as the Amber thing. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!
Also sexuality is not constant. Also Replacement Wilson in Not Cancer. Also the steady rise in gay jokes over this season and the last. Anything is possible!
Buffy is incredible, you would love it. It's like Twilight except it doesn't suck.
