Timeline: I once read that Torchwood was set a couple years in the future, but I’m not sure if that’s true or not, so it’s set in 2009.
A/N: Inspired by reading the blog Belle de Jour: diary of a London call girl, although this is very different.

I had lunch with the girls from the station again.
They asked about my twisted ankle, and I told them a very exciting story about me running through dark city streets after a dangerous suspect in a recent special ops investigation. They were very impressed, but I ended up admitting the truth later.
One of the girls launched into a story about how she once broke her wrist when she fell off the bed during a particularly inventive round of sex. She told everyone she fell off her front stairs, and landed on her hand. Needless to say, she completely understood my need to make some serious alterations to my story.
Just like last time lunch was great. It’s nice to spend some time with people who can make jokes about little green men without even a hint of irony now and then.
