Yea, poor Eight.....as a character, he has much with the potential...but that sorry made-for-t-movie crud is just....well, I can't knock it too much since it was my first, and you know how one tends to be sentimental about their first Doctor.....but, really, the movie is kind of an embarrassing area of Who canon.
