Personal crafty anecdote? I'm currently working on little amigurumi characters. Some day I'd like to make a little Konata doll from Lucky Star. Or all the Utena characters!

I'm not a lesbian, but I'm definitely pro-equal rights! I am also not religious at all, so no worries on that front. And I LOVE lolcats. In fact, I've got a folder on my hard drive full of lolcats, so that when I have a bad day, I can just look through them and giggle. It makes any day that much happier. :-D

For shows, we share DW/Torchwood and Firefly. (Fun fact: I wrote my undergrad honors thesis on the women of Firefly. It was awesome.)

Oh, one of my favorite classes was on melodrama in Victorian literature. The professor was awesome, and, well, the Victorians were so CRAZY, how can you not love it? (Love it in a "I'm so glad I'm not living back then" sense, of course.)

Neil Gaiman rocks! I'm collecting the whole Sandman series as I can. And wow, you don;t live too far from me...I'm in midcoast Maine. :)

I'm a bit older, but I'm married and bisexual, which has been interesting. I post a lot and am a recovering emo-holic so if I have to freak out, I generally do it as a private post only for me, and only to get it out.
