Becka's mom finally got around to sending me the pictures she took of Gabriel, and they made me want to cry. He is growing up too fast! Who said he could be so big already?

I'm sad that I'm going back to work next week... I'm not ready to leave my baby. Too bad I can't be a stay-at-home mom.

Gabriel is officially a month old. When did that happen? I'm not okay with this...

Who said they are allowed to grow up?

They are not so fun under normal circumstances. Even less fun with a baby in tow. Especially when it is his bedtime. Babies don't understand that paperwork time and feeding time can't really overlap. it took almost 3 weeks, but my cute little bundle of joy defeated me. he had me in tears because he wouldn't stop crying. for no apparent reason. it was quite frustrating.

my baby has a belly button. yay, easier baby cleaning.

... What makes my extended family think that they are entitled to a phone call that my baby was born? They will all get birth announcements; that's enough. It's not like I am particularly close to any of them.

Gabriel James Laws arrived at 5 p.m. on the dot on Wed, Sept 10, 2008 at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center in Mt Clemens Michigan. He was 6lbs. 10 oz. and measured out at 19". He has a head of thick reddish brown hair.

Also, I'm pretty obsessed with him.
