Summary: Fog surrounded Jaejoong from all angles. How did he get lost? All he wanted was to go to the bathroom and since everyone was asleep he didn’t hear any human sounds. He should’ve stayed closer to the campsite. One wrong turn had him falling down a steep slope he hadn’t seen because the moon was covered by clouds. Picking himself up, he suddenly noticed a tall figure a few feet away.
Shim Changmin was born a werewolf. He pities, yet is secretly envious, of werewolves that have found their other halves. He doesn’t want to be tied down yet though. All that changes when he meets a human in the middle of the woods …

Chapter 8
----
‘Okay, calm down Junsu. It’s not like you haven’t been with Chunnie for two years, you shouldn’t be this nervous for just a date. Heck, you’ve even done more than just date... Why the hell am I nervous?!’ Junsu talked to himself as he paced back and forth in his living room, waiting for Yoochun to arrive. He’d called him five minutes ago and just waiting had him almost having a nervous breakdown.
He jumped when the doorbell rung and whipped around to face it. He calmed his beating heart by patting his chest with one hand and went to open the door.
Yoochun stood in the other side dressed casual yet still elegant. Nobody could deny that he was handsome, yet Junsu felt nothing when seeing him. It was as if he was seeing Jaejoong. He was snapped back to the present when Yoochun greeted him with a peck on the lips.
“Are you ready to go baby? I know exactly what we can do today, so let’s hurry up, yeah?” Yoochun said with a light seductive undertone in his voice.
Junsu was too busy thinking about the peck that he didn’t catch the undertone in Yoochun’s voice. ‘I felt absolutely nothing. Not even a small tingle.’
“Hey, baby, you there?” Yoochun asked with concern in his voice while waving a hand in front of Junsu.
Startled, Junsu jumped slightly. “Huh… oh, yeah. I’m ready,” he said with a sheepish smile as he tried to not let his thoughts ruin the day.
“All right then, let’s go,” Yoochun said with a huge smile on his face.
He grabbed Junsu’s hand and pretended to not notice when Junsu tried to escape his grasp discreetly. After a while Junsu gave up and they walked hand in hand to the elevator of the building.
“So… where are we going Chunnie?” Junsu asked to distract himself from the uncomfortable feeling he was getting from just holding Yoochun’s hand. ‘Seriously, what’s wrong with me?’ They got into the elevator and pressed the first floor.
“Oh, you’ll see. Just think of what we haven’t done in a while and you’ll have your answer,” Yoochun said, purposely giving a greasy grin to throw Junsu off the right track. He meant the carnival on the outskirts of the city, but there are several things they hadn’t done and he didn’t want Junsu to guess correctly.
Seeing that grin and hearing the response had Junsu on high alert. ‘What does he mean by that! He wouldn’t take me… would he? It has been awhile… but that doesn’t mean… aish.’
“YAH, Park Yoochun! Where are you taking me! I just said a date, not something else!” He shouted as he tore his hand away from Yoochun’s hold with an indignant expression on his face. He certainly wouldn’t be doing anything of that sort with Yoochun anytime soon.
“Hhahahhahaha,” Yoochun laughed, doubling over at the hilarious face Junsu was making. He looked like a gaping fish, mouth opening and closing and eyes wide open. Tears started to form when he continued to laugh at the possible meaning in Junsu’s words.
“B-hahha-Baby, it’s not like that. I promise it’s a public place,” he said, finally calming down and wiping the last tear off his cheek. It’d been a while since he laughed that hard because of Junsu.
Junsu blushed, embarrassed that his mind automatically went to the gutter. Those dreams had really perverted his mind.
The elevator doors finally opened and they stepped out. The sun was blinding and Junsu had to squint his eyes a little.
“We’re taking my car, alright babe,” Yoochun said. He took his keys out of his pocket and unlocked his BMW. He went ahead to open Junsu’s door, earning a thanks from Junsu, and then walked to the driver’s side. He pulled out of the curve and immediately started a conversation.
“Would you like to eat first or do what I have planned?” He asked.
“I’m feeling a little hungry, so why don’t we go eat first?” Junsu replied while rubbing his stomach.
“Your wish is my command,” Yoochun said, his lips curving at the cute image Junsu created.
Junsu smiled at Yoochun. He always loved it when Yoochun would treat him like a prince. That’s part of the reason they got together in the first place. He looked out the windshield, trying to ignore the uncomfortable silence. ‘It shouldn’t be this hard. Why does it feel like we’re strangers instead of a couple?’
**
Yoochun concentrated on driving. He had a bad feeling about today. When Junsu first called him he’d been ecstatic. Junsu was the first one to bridge the gap between them, so that could only be good news. At least that’s what he’d thought. He didn’t understand why Junsu would tense whenever he touched him, even with the most innocent of touches. He’d been so focused on his problem with Junsu that even his normal behavior and day pattern had changed. He barely smiled to anyone, let alone flirted for fun. Gone was the fun Yoochun everyone knew, only the stalker Yoochun remained. It still puzzled him as to why Junsu changed so drastically. He hadn’t found anything concrete and had even started to believe it was all in his head, paranoia of sorts from someone who has cheated in the past…
That’s in the past though. Junsu never found out and he’d like to keep it that way. It was only one drunken mistake that doesn’t even deserve to be remembered. He doesn’t know why it came to his mind just now.
This new awkward and serious Junsu was disconcerting him. What happened to his sweet, cheerful, dramatic Junsu?
He parked in the Italian Restaurant he made a reservation in. He had a feeling Junsu would choose to eat before the rest of the day began.
With a smile on his face that didn’t quite reach his eyes he said, “We’re here.”

Yunho decided to patrol the outskirts of the city today by checking on the werewolves at each station. He had werewolves stationed at certain sections of their region, but since the rogue was still considered to be a distance away he didn’t bother making the werewolf’s stay for long periods of time. Switch offs happened when a werewolf had to go to their undercover jobs. Most werewolves were rich, due to the fact that some families have been around for a long period of time, but that didn’t mean that they didn’t need to blend in with human society today. Having something to do also relieved boredom and potential for trouble. He could easily call each werewolf stationed, but he preferred one on one interactions. These interactions can sometimes tell more than phone conversations and he’d be able to also check the spot himself.
He got out of his cabin and inhaled the fresh air. ‘Ah, I just love it here.’ A huge smile appeared on his face as he got into his truck and drove to his first spot of the day.

Food always calmed him. He knew he should worry about his weight, but he figured he could always exercise to get rid of it if he needed to at some point. The Italian Restaurant Yoochun brought him to was excellent. He’d have to bring Jaejoong here at some point and make him pay, since the place was expensive and he didn’t have that kind of money. He relaxed to the point where he was somewhat his cheerful self and was able to converse smoothly again with Yoochun.
**
Yoochun was happy that everything was going smoothly. He caught glimpses of his Junsu during their conversation at the restaurant and he couldn’t be happier. Maybe he was just imagining a huge rift when there was only a little ridge in their relationship? Because of the light conversation they were able to kill a good amount of time there… two hours to be exact. Next on the agenda was shopping. Junsu loved shopping. He loved it even more when he bought him the stuff he wanted.
“How about we kill some time shopping baby?” He said with a charming smile on his face.
Junsu squealed and practically jumped at the offer of buying new things. Yoochun paid for their food and draped an arm around Junsu, not noticing the way Junsu’s smile dropped slightly or how his shoulders tensed ever so slightly.
***
It was late afternoon already. Shopping with Junsu always took hours to complete because he was a picky buyer. That saved Yoochun’s pocket of on more than one occasion.
Junsu thought that as the day passed he was able to cope with Yoochun’s proximity… as long as he didn’t try anything even remotely romantic that is. He’d noticed that recently. He could act normal as long as Yoochun acted like his friend more than his boyfriend. He could enjoy himself if he forgot Yoochun was his boyfriend. As soon as he was reminded of the fact, though, he turned awkward and distant. He wasn’t sure if he was able to hide it from Yoochun well, but he tried to nonetheless.
“I think it’s late enough to go to our last stop for today’s date sweet cakes.” Yoochun informed him with a huge smile on his face, “But I need to blindfold you first.”
**
‘Why would I need a blindfold?’ “Why do you want to blind fold me,” his voice showed the skepticism that he felt. He started to feel nervous again.
“Because I want it to be a surprise silly,” Yoochun responded, the smile never faltering and his excitement very visible.
“O-okay then,” Junsu replied. He had to trust in Yoochun, no matter how difficult it was, and so he let himself be dragged to the car. Yoochun took out a silk black eye mask and placed it on Junsu’s eyes, making sure that he really couldn’t see by kissing the tip of Junsu’s nose.
Junsu started and moved backwards, having Yoochun so close allowed him to smell him and it wasn’t a pleasant smell. ‘Why does he stink so badly? I remember him having a pleasant smell, not this disgusting odor,’ he had to control his facial feature to not show his disgust.
“Come on baby, I’ll buckle you in,” Yoochun sounded like he was having way too much fun having Junsu this defenseless.
Junsu allowed Yoochun to lead him to the car and into his seat. He held his breath as Yoochun buckled his seatbelt and released it when Yoochun had closed his door. He waited until they arrived to their destination.

Yunho was 3/4ths done doing his rounds. There weren’t many stations to check, but having them so spread out was what took the most time. Not to mention that some of the were’s were his friends and chatted him up, he was their only source of entertainment after all, and that took most of his day. He’d had lunch already and was almost ready for dinner, but decided to have dinner at home once he finished his rounds.
So far nothing new was reported. Some of the werewolf’s had even questioned why they were patrolling so early. They’d said that the rogue was nowhere near their region yet, so what was the use. Yunho made sure they didn’t question him again and told them that it was best for them to be safe than sorry; that made them bow their heads and not question him again… he wasn’t the Alfa for nothing. He spotted Hyungjoon at his post and greeted him with a smile before getting out of his car. After this one more station to go.

Yoochun glances at Junsu from time to time. If all goes well he’ll have his Junsu back in no time. He worked hard in coming up with what to do on their date and everything had gone smoothly. This was the cherry on a banana split so to speak. He pulled into the parking lot and almost jumped up in down in excitement. He hadn’t been to the carnival in so long and the lights were already on. It made it seem even more exciting. The sun would set in an hour and he couldn’t wait for Junsu to see where he brought him. He went to open Junsu’s door and to help him out.
**
“We’re here,” he heard Yoochun say. He was glad he heard people making conversation and laughing. He also heard some scream, overall it sounded like they were having fun. His curiosity was raised and he couldn’t wait for Yoochun to take the makeshift blindfold off of him.
He allowed Yoochun to lead him and felt when he stopped. He waited until Yoochun un-blindfolded him and had to blink a couple of times to see where he was. Once he did he let out a happy yelp and jumped on Yoochun, full of happiness. He hadn’t been to the carnival in so long that he couldn’t decide what he wanted to do first. Should he play some of the games available? Or should he just ride the rides one by one until he felt like he could throw up. The more popular rides had long lines, so he had to be selective of where he went or else he could miss out on something else. So many choices, so little time!
“Chunnie, Chunnie! I wanna ride that one,” he said while pointing to a small roller coaster ride across the park. It looked like fun and the huge bright smile on his face showed his happiness. He didn’t even notice that he had grabbed Yoochun’s hands in his excitement or the satisfied smile Yoochun was sporting.
“Sure baby, anything you want.” Yoochun said as he was led by an excited Junsu to the main entrance.
A/N: So it came out long and my journal wouldn’t let me post it all at once, so divided it into two chapters. ^_^
