.~~~Chapter 11~~~.
**

Changmin woke up from his deep sleep later than he normally did. Before he had a chance to panic anew at the clanking noise the chain made, he heard Jaejoong's voice announcing that he'd brought breakfast.

He slowly got up and headed to collect his tray. He didn't dare look Jaejoong in the eyes after everything he'd said yesterday. He wished his drowsy mind wasn't so fast in remembering it. Yet when he tried to remember his past... it was best to not think about it.

Jaejoong didn't say anything. He didn't inquire about his health or whether he was feeling alright. It was just as well. Changmin didn't want to talk about it and it wasn't as if Jaejoong was that kind of person. In fact, Changmin didn't know where that psychotic thought had come from.

Jaejoong, ask him if he was alright. Yeah right. He truly was delusional. When he placed his tray where he always placed it, Jaejoong took it and left. Just like that.

Normally, Changmin would feel relief. But this time, this time he felt something sting his eyes. He clenched his fists. He'd cried enough yesterday. He wasn't about to cry like a little girl again. With that thought he stood up and cringed at the sound of the chains, but kept walking towards the shower; just another day in his prison.

**two days later**

Jaejoong paced in his room, observing Changmin through the monitor. He seemed calmer than he was last night and Jaejoong wondered sometimes if this Changmin and the one he'd seen last night were the same person. As a matter of fact, it seemed Shim Changmin had too many facets to his personality for him to keep up.

Maybe that's why the guy had obsessed him to this degree... he clenched his fists and decided to move on. He had a meeting with Park today at 3. Apparently the other had some information he wanted to talk about in regards the hosu couple... he chuckled at his thought. Maybe this information correlated to something in Changmin's childhood? He sighed. He really needed to take a break from thinking about Changmin. He couldn't keep thinking about him... it could lead to dangerous territory.

Yoochun walked into the agreed coffee shop and immediately spotted his boss. He knew the other would be pissed off that he couldn't find the information he seemed to want so desperately, but so far every clue he'd followed led to a dead end and it was getting even him desperate. Usually his hunch was dead on, that's why he was considered the best detective in all of Seoul, but this time it was proving hard to find what he needed.

"You're late Park." His employer stated a matter of fact and Yoochun bowed in apology. He knew the man was dangerous, and any little thing could set him off, but kept working for him for the benefits of being employed by the infamous Hero brought... even if it also brought its dangers.

"Sorry Boss. Junsu kept me longer than expected." Yoochun stated seriously as he sat down.

"Hm. Well, tell me what you needed to say. I don't have all day." Hero said as he looked around.

Yoochun noticed he was once more in disguise, already having gotten use to seeing his boss like this, but what surprised him was that the other didn't snap at him or threaten him as he normally did. He masked his surprise before the other's temper made an appearance and revealed the news he'd called him in for.

"Today Junsu asked his parents for help in searching for Shim. These are the investigators involved in the search." He handed Jaejoong the files of the detectives and continued.

"As you know, the police have found no trace that might lead to his disappearance. The other reason why I called you here was because I'm going to be taking a trip. I need to follow a lead on the other matter you wanted me to find out about. I-I still haven't found the answer you seek in regards to Shim." He bowed down again and hoped that it was enough to keep Hero from snapping at him. When he heard nothing he chance to look up and found Hero with a frown. He averted his eyes before the other saw he'd seen. He'd never seen the other show any emotion except anger, so witnessing that frown felt like an invasion of privacy.

"How long?" Hero asked abruptly, startling Yoochun out of his thoughts.

"I'm not sure how long until I find the person I seek, but possibly a week or two. It all depends on whether the address I found is correct and that the person still lives there." In fact, if he couldn't find that person, he'd have to start from scratch once more. She seemed to be the only link to Changmin's past.

"Alright. I'll just have someone else trail Junsu and Yunho while you're gone." Jaejoong said nonchalantly and Yoochun bristled at the stated comment. He'd grown accustomed to Junsu's and Yunho's friendship and had unwilling began to care for the well being of both. Having their safety in the hands of someone else didn't sit well with him. He tried his best to not let it show though. If Jaejoong found out, he'd assign someone else permanently to those two until he grew bored of them. He would try to get back as soon as possible.

"Alright Boss. I'll try to get back as soon as possible." Yoochun stated tersely.

He saw Jaejoong raise an eyebrow at him and he immediately added in a nicer tone, "If you'll excuse me, my flight leaves in two hours and I still need to finish packing." He bowed and left as soon as possible. He really hoped to finally tie all the loose ends with this case so that he could move on and have a mini vacation. The stress was getting to him.

**four days later**

Yunho sighed as he sat down in his bed, rubbing his temples as he felt the stress accumulating. He'd gone to the police station to see if they had found any information on Changmin's whereabouts, but nothing. He'd been going every week, ever since the mandatory 48 hours of disappearance had passed. He couldn't believe they knew nothing of the disappearance, but still had hope that not a lot of time had passed, so that might be the reason. The reason why there were no motives found, no clues brought up, why nothing had happened. If it wasn't because Yunho had reported it, he doubted anyone would've. He felt depress in knowing this.

The bed dipped behind him and arms went around his shoulders.

"Don't worry Yunho. He'll be fine. We'll find him. I have my parent's best detectives working on finding him." Junsu consoled him. Yunho felt the pressure that had been building lessen the more he relied back against Junsu's solid frame. He took one of Junsu's hands and squeezed it. He appreciated Junsu's efforts to find his friend.

"I know." He kissed the back of the hand and disentangled Junsu's arms from his shoulder, slowly turning around to look him straight in the eyes. "And I appreciate everything you've done Junsu-ah, but it's nearly been a month since his disappearance and nothing has turned up. Neither the cops or your investigators have found anything useful to track his whereabouts... " Yunho stopped to calm down. His voice had been rising unconsciously. It wasn't Junsu's fault that they couldn't find his friend, so he shouldn't take it out his frustrations on the other.

If this was what Changmin experienced when he disappeared, his friend suffered a lot; especially since he had no one to help him out, while he did have Junsu.

"Sorry." He relied his forehead on Junsu's while holding his nape. "I'll... I'll take a shower to calm down. But really, thank you." Yunho deposited a soft kiss on Junsu's plump lips, seeing the understanding in his lover's eyes made him feel even worst for having raised his voice at him.

"It's okay. I know. Take your time." Junsu said with a shaky smile and sad eyes.

Yunho was too distracted by guilt to notice the sadness and just headed off to the shower. Never seeing how Junsu's eyes watered slightly as soon as his back turned.

**

"You've been a rather good boy lately." Jaejoong commented as Changmin sat. He'd finished eating and had left the tray for Jaejoong to take. Ever since the day he'd broken in front of Jaejoong, he hadn't been able to look the guy in the eyes. This was the first time in so long that Jaejoong said anything of this type to him since... that night. He'd begun to miss the other's voice and weird comments.

"If you behave..." Jaejoong stopped abruptly and Changmin got curious enough to look up. As soon as his eyes met Jaejoong's though, a furious blush encompassed his whole face and he immediately looked down. He cursed at himself inwardly. That's why you don't reveal that much of yourself to a stranger. It just makes things awkward and now they know your weakness.

At least, he believed it was embarrassment that made his face burn and his heart race as the other kept looking at him. What must he think of him? That he was crazy? That he was weak? That he acted like a pitiful girl with a mental disease?

Jaejoong cleared his throat and continued, "If you behave, I'll consider letting you off the chains. But first, a test."

Changmin frowned at that. What did he mean by a test? It'd seem so long ago since Jaejoong had done anything to him that he couldn't tell what test the other meant. He dared not look up though, and stayed sitting on the bed. He'd gone there after leaving the tray on the floor where he always left it.

Now that he thought about it, he had been 'a good boy' as Jaejoong said... his frown deepened. But just the mere thought that he could be rid of the chains made anything worth it. If anything, it made him realize that chains were far worse than this prison... what was happening to him.

He jumped slightly when he heard the bar door opening.

He held still.

He couldn't believe that just a few days with a chain had broken him far worse than anything else Jaejoong had done previously. His heart thundered in his chest as the other got closer and he gave up trying to understand why.

When he felt a caress on his shoulder, he shivered. A pleasurable wave began to take hold as the hand traveled down his arm. When was the last time that hand had caressed his naked flesh?

The hand then travelled up the same path it had taken, only this time going further, under his chin, until his face was lifted enough for Jaejoong to inspect.

His heart raced uncontrollably. He anticipated something, yet his mind couldn't catch up to him on what that something was. He kept his eyes lowered though, unable to see Jaejoong's intense eyes on him. He knew that if he did, his heart would leap out of his chest. His breathing increased, getting faster the more seconds the other kept his hand under his chin. It was to the point where he had to open his lips slightly just to get enough oxygen into his lungs. He could feel his face starting to burn again, only in a slower pace.

What the heck was Jaejoong doing? What the heck was he waiting for? What the hell was he waiting Jaejoong to do?

When he felt Jaejoong's breath on his lips he froze. He was going to kiss him. He was going to kiss him. And... he was going to let himself? Last time it'd happened he'd been pretty worked up and kissing just seemed like another step to fulfill his pleasurable state. But now, now he was lucid. He didn't have the haze of lust to cloud his judgment... and he was coherent.

He closed his eyes tightly as he first felt the graze of soft plump lips against his own. This kiss felt different. It was different from the way he'd attacked his lips the previous time. His fists clenched tightly as he felt electricity spark from that light touch. When the pressure increased, all he did was hold still. When Jaejoong's lips started to move on his own, he let out a shaky breath. It was hard to rebel in the only little way he knew how, which was to not return the kiss and just let himself... to be passive. Nothing was worse than kissing someone who didn't return a kiss. It just felt awkward.

But his resolve weakened little by little as he felt Jaejoong take his bottom lip between his teeth, gently sucking it into his mouth and wetting it slightly with his tongue.

Changmin couldn't help the moan that left his lips and couldn't stop himself from responding to the kiss. Even though it'd been only a few days, it felt like a lifetime since he'd tasted the other. His mind went blank as soon as he surrendered to kissing Jaejoong back, just like the other time. He unclenched his hands and wound his arms around Jaejoong's neck and brought the other closer still, kissing back with more desperation than he would admit to anyone. He sucked the other's plump lips into his own, having fantasized enough times about doing so after the first kiss they'd shared.

Jaejoong groaned and intensified the kiss ten-fold.

Without knowing how, he found himself lying down on the bed, with Jaejoong's body against his own. He groaned when he felt the other's clothed arousal against his own naked one and wondered when he'd round his legs around the other's waist. He decided he didn't care as pleasure encompassed him. He felt hot all over and couldn't stop his hands from roaming the body above his, something he hadn't been able to do yet since his hands were always tied.

When Jaejoong's tongue snaked into his mouth, he felt as if he would burst from the inside. The pleasure he felt as that skillful tongue worked his own made his head light and his hormones take over. When Jaejoong's hand found its way towards his arousal, he broke the kiss to let out a loud moan while bucking his hips. Jaejoong's delicious lips worked down his jaw, to his neck, and lower still towards his chest.

Changmin didn't know what to do. The heat was encompassing him and he felt desperation to get Jaejoong out of his clothes and feel him completely naked over him. He'd finally found a way to get his hands under Jaejoong's shirt, to touch Jaejoong's ripped abs, to feel the hot flesh against him, only to have hands grab his wrists and pin them above his head. He frowned and was about to protest, but then Jaejoong's mouth clamped onto a harden nipple and Changmin arched upward, once more letting out a loud moan. He'd forgotten how he'd fought so hard to be quiet when he'd first gotten here. He forgot he shouldn't let Jaejoong do this to him. He'd forgotten everything but the present feelings taking over.

When he felt cold air surround him and the pressure on his wrists disappear, he opened his eyes, confused. Jaejoong was heaving a distance away from him, looking at him in a way that made a blush spread throughout his body and for the heat to return.

Jaejoong slowly smirked, this made his heart skip a beat.

"You passed the test pet." He said sensually and took out keys that were in his pocket all along.

Changmin was stunned.

He'd had the chance to escape.

The chance to get the chain off.

The chance to get out... and he'd not taken it.

He'd... he'd... he couldn't think as he saw Jaejoong approach him and bend down to take off the cursed chain off his ankle. He couldn't think as Jaejoong got up and kissed his forehead, turning around and walking towards the door. Couldn't think, but stayed staring as the other locked the bar door and headed out of the room at his normal pace.

Couldn't believe... couldn't believe what he'd done.
