Mostly they aren't, I'm led to understand. It's just the particular shower in our house is, well, crap.

I have yet to use a shower in the US that wasn't equal to or superior to the one in your father's house, and you keep telling me how uncommonly good THAT one was.

Where do you live? Are you camping? (or maybe it's because I take my detachable showerhead with me to every apartment ^_^ I LOVE that thing!)

I live up in the foothills somewhere along the west coast, and the water pressure around here is terrible. I get rained on harder than I do in the shower. (So I take the opportunity to get a shower when I visit friends or relatives. One has it very nice, I could very nearly brush my teeth by facing their showerhead and smiling.)
