Friday night we shaved my head as part of Salon Miniscule. First one side, then the other, then the remaining mohawk-strip in the middle, with various other elements of the Salon happening between each segment. It proved pretty popular. I ran into a gal named Michelle or maybe Melissa (or maybe neither) who performs under the moniker "Better Late Than Pregnant" who seemed to know a fair number of folks from here in town.

The liquor store was a block beyond the Tap Room (from the Dreamland). The robbery actually happened right out front of it (to two dudes named Chris and Tom, who had exited the store as we were still waiting in line for our various purchases, they came running back in, et cetera). The owner said that in 10 years of running the place, he had never had any experiences remotely resembling it.
