Yesterday I found out that some Squidballer sings the national anthem at major sporting events around town; apparently she sang for the Blues like 22 games last season or something!? When I was in high school, I was the bass in a quartet that sang the national anthem before some volleyball games (and our volleyball team went to the state finals like every year, so that place was packed!).

Also, is that avatar the default broken image pic from NBC.com or whatever? I know it looks a lot like that, color- and content-wise.
