I am so glad to read your last line . . . there will be a season 6. I have to say that I haven't read anything about that so I was pretty sad last night.
I sure hope when they do end the series they don't do it like this. Dean looked like a zombie living a "normal" life. Sam and Dean were born to hunt.

I couldn't agree more. I've read a few other people's comments about the lack of response & grieving time Dean had over losing Sam. The whole 'happy families' scene at the end just seemed wrong. Hopefully that's what the writers were aiming for - some ambiguity for Dean's future. Who knows if he stays with Lisa for more than a night, a week, a month etc. I think it was purposefully left open because of Season 6.
But yes - if Kripke had ended S5 with the Dean & Lisa scenario, I would've been one very peeved fangirl. Here's hoping Sera & the other writers can do something amazing with the next season.
