Every year, in late January or early February the rodeo comes to the Rose Garden (which is Portland's sports arena where the Trail Blazers play). Only this year it's NOT COMING. Which creates huge problems for me because I usually get my dad rodeo tickets for Christmas. So now I have no idea what to get him

How would he feel if you had a picture taken of yourself at Multnomah Falls for him? Or something like that?

Not well, I'm afraid.

My dad and I don't get along. A personal gift like that would just be an occasion for uncomfortable silence.

Let me put it this way: I know the perfect thing to get my dad, but the corner bar doesn't do gift cetificates.

Sounds like the relationship I had had my with Dad-ZIP! The only time he ever talked to me like I had a brain was not long before he died.

So I know the feeling. The only other thing I can think is get a certifcate at his favorite resturant or something like that.

He doesn't like rewatching movies or tv shows he's seen recently, so there's no point in getting him dvds.

...instead of that, how 'bout a month of Netflix? Or one of those all-you-can-rent months from Blockbuster et all?
