I am finally no longer a cyborg! That was our little joke, that as long as I had a tube/drain coming out of me I wasn't 100% human and was therefor a cyborg. It was supposed to be in for about 2 weeks after my surgery and in reality it ended up being 3 months. Glad to hear you have survived that whole ordeal and are on the mend!

Sorry you are feeling useless and bored. :( Bed rest is a bitch, I've been there. May I suggest reminding yourself that simply staying alive and being present makes your loved ones happy, and that in and of itself is useful? That love isn't a meritocracy, so it doesn't matter if you're unproductive right now? I understand that what worked for me may not work for you, but repeating thoughts like those when I felt antsy really helped get me through my medical crises, bed rest, and physical therapy.

Yay for the tube removal!!! I was beginning to think it'd never come out. And maybe take over your body. And then you'd really be a cyborg.

We'll have to come visit you guys at the new place!
