How did having a roommate work out when there wasn't an extra room for him? I never did a roommate I don't think. Some day I'll have to go back to Sims 2 and try some of the stuff I never did.

The sims had to sleep in shifts. The room mate took an available bed when she needed it. Room mates are like animals. You can interact with them but not control them
