Jared has always been dutiful to his family, raised a gold ol’ Texas boy, to Jared family is everything. So when he discovers his older brother - the 'golden boy' of the family has been defrauding the company he works for to keep his money-grabbing fiancée happy (who conveniently dumped him after) and faces a long prison sentence, Jared knows he can’t let that happen. His brother was wrong and very stupid but he genuinely loved his fiancé and would never have done so otherwise. Jared is prepared to go to any lengths to help his brother including begging the company CEO, Jensen R. Ackles personally on his knees, to not send his brother to prison, let his brother and their family somehow pay back the money £150000, which is peanuts to billionaire Jensen. But Jensen has a well earned hard reputation that even the most cut-throat business men think twice about offending, and not someone you ask a favour from. Jensen has no time of sentimentality or sob stories...but he does have time to oogle Jared’s very pretty face which is adorably,

Jared always knew it would be tough when he and Jensen finally separated after nine years of marriage. He never wanted to separate, he loves Jensen but knew it had to be done. The yelling, screaming, the accusations and bitter words, were all getting too much. He and Jensen need space apart, and maybe they can figure out what has gone so badly wrong, because Jared badly wants his husband back, misses seeing him around the house, misses him playing with their children and God he misses Jensen in their bed, and not just because of the sex, he misses Jensen holding him, of how he felt nothing could go wrong in Jensen’s arms. He wants that back again. So far they’ve manage to be civil, even friendly for the sake of their children, but then Jensen starts dating and going out on the town, and Jared’s hopes for a reconcile are destroyed. All Jared can do is stand back and hope none of his friends see him crying. He has to move on, Jensen obviously has but things rapidly go down hill when Jared sees a drastic change in Jensen’s personality.
