2010 has been a year of firsts for me.
I took a year-long course about sheep and fibre (sort of a 'shephardry lite' class.) I learned about sheep diseases, breeding, lambing, shearing, herding, and fibre prep. I got to hold and feed a tiny baby lamb. I herded a grumpy ewe from the field to the barn without a dog or a halter. I loved it immensely and

For 2011, I look forward to:
• More baby noms. I hear toes are particularly tasty.
• Kidnapping you for the promised massage.
• Learning more SAS and STATA-y goodness.
• Poking about and investigating PhD options.
• A summer that doesn't involve 2 am work phone calls.
• Generally being sloppy happy with life.

Some people have easy births, otheers spend three days in labor and never dilate past 3 cm. (that would be me).
