Now that I actually, yanno, have time for RP these days, I'm looking for somewhere new to go. In a perfect world, I'd like something heavily plot-oriented that allows OCs, but I'm not terribly picky. LJ, MU*, other journal-based, forum-based, it's all good.

Where are folks getting their pretendy funtime game fix these days?

I still occasionally do MSN RP with Jenny, but even that is getting very rare these days.

I would love to find new outlets, but LJ RPs with their huge numbers of people and emphasis on fandom characters still scare me!

Neither is terribly plot-based, but plots can happen. They're both mostly "Here is a fun sandbox OK GO." Both allow OCs.

speaking of RPGs, how has topher's game been going? as the summer is winding down i'm getting more free time to play DnD in. I'd even be willing to go easy on him, and leave Ferrous at home.

It's been on hiatus due to circumstances beyond our control. Right now Topher's in Ireland until the 23rd (I think), and when he gets back we can start pestering him again.
