Isabel had reached the point where studying just wasn't happenening any longer. A quick phone call had Parker appearing, loaded down with gifts

Parker was wearing a black velvet bodysuit with white fur cuffs and collar, and she had envelopes with shiny paper and red ribbons, bows, and a good bit of glitter. She looked like the Bad Elf that put coal in children's stockings.

"Soooo. You want your present now?" Parker danced and envelope in front of Annie, who batted at it. "Or later?"

"Now! Now! Now!" Isabel demanded, as the sugar started to effect her. "Then I'll give you yours."

Parker snickered, and held out the envelope, then handed over a small box. "Merry Christmas, crazy Christmas assistant."

Isabel opened both gifts up in a very dignified manor. Then squeed. "Thank you! That's going to be fun and this is just gorgeous," she said, as she put the necklace on. "I love it." Rummaging through her stack of gifts she pulled out a small flat box and another, slightly larger box. "Here, Merry Christmas!"

Alanna's hands were still wrapped in bandages, but she had a present in one and a cat in another. One was for Isabel.

"Hey! How are you?" Isabel asked. "How are your hands?"

"Achey." Alanna said and lifted up the one with the cat in it. "Why, oh why is it always my hands and/or arms?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"I don't know," she admitted. "But think about it, if it had been your foot or something you'd be stuck on crutches now. Take a seat," Isabel said, as she pulled out two boxes and a small envelope. Inside the envelope, a small note said that one of these would be delivered for Faithful after the new semester started.

Zero, dressed in her elf costume, peered around the doorframe. "Did someone say presents?"

"You've come to the right place," Isabel nodded, pulling another present out of her stash. She held out a brightly colored gift bag. "For you."

"Oooh, thank you!" Zero held out a gift bag of her own and said, "And this is for you."

"I figured you can use that to help you relax the next time Peter does the super hero thing." Isabel opened her packages, gleed at the chocolate and gasped at the cranes. "Oh...These are gorgeous! Thank you!"

Aeryn, feeling oddly naked without her egg, knocks on the doorframe. "You wanted to see me?"

Isabel waved and the pompom on her hat bounced. "Yes! I wasn't sure what your plans were for the holidays so I wanted to make sure you got your presents. Come on in, let me get them out!"

She steps inside and says kind of apologetically, "I haven't even been able to finish my shopping yet."

"No worries, I'll admit it, I'm insane and have been shopping since September," Isabel grinned. Reaching into the pile of gifts she pulled out a small box and a larger box. "These are for you!"

Molly stopped by on her way back upstairs. "Hi, Isabel. What's up?"

High on sugar and holiday cheer, Isabel grinned. "Prezzies!" A small box went flying towards Molly.

"EEP!" Molly said as she caught the box. "Wow. Thanks, Isabel! Can I open it now?"

"Of course," she grinned. "That would be cruel to make you sit and look at it till Monday morning."
