Isabel considered Parker's second question with a soft smile. "I'm good. Tired of course, but good. Happy. This is everything I never thought I'd get to have and now I do. It's perfect."

Yeah no she didn't. But you couldn't tell by that grin. "The cursing was imaginative." She looked down at Victoria. "And when you're old enough, kiddo, Aunt Parker will teach you how to call boys names in Russian, so you don't get in trouble at school."
Looking back at Isabel, Parker said simply, "Yeah. Maybe it was all worth it."
