Even though there had been some discussion of wedding plans, Isabel had managed not to get too carried away with the planning and had instead spent the last week enjoying time with Wyatt and her family

"Let's just stay here for the rest of our lives," Wyatt murmured, his arm around Isabel's shoulders as he looked up at the desert sky.

"Okay," Isabel agreed, leaning into his shoulder. "Although it might get a bit warmer when the sun's out. Uncomfortably so."

Wyatt kissed the top of her head. "Okay, that might be a problem. Although I can probably heal sunburns."

"You'd be doing that about twenty minutes after the sun came up out here," she smiled. "And then repeatedly throughout the day. If only we'd planned ahead and brought a tanker truck full of sunscreen with us."

Silliness was nice and distracting.
