Saturday had been busy, but today had been even busier. Isabel had had a very busy day. In fact it had been so busy that Wyatt didn't catch up with her until he handwavily found her in the common room with the polar bear. "Time for bed for you," Wyatt said, lifting her up and setting her down on her bed, thankful that the room had a second bed in it.

"Can you tell me a story?" she asked as she snuggled into the blankets and reached for her alien bear. "Ino didn't like my story today. She said no one gets happy ever after."

"Sure," Wyatt said. He turned off the lights but left Isabel's star lamp on. He didn't know if she would be scared of the dark at this age but he didn't want to risk it. "What kind of story do you want?"

Leaving the light on was definitely a good idea. Isabel yawned, "Something about a dragon and a knight who saves the princess." Hopefully it would be a short story. Because Isabel wasn't going to last long.
