OMG I AM SO BEHIND.

I have a millionty-two things to el-Jay about.  Let's see, where to start...

U2!!!!!!!!
They ROCKED their week on Letterman.  AND.....THEY'RE COMING TO ATLANTA.   Yep.  Stadium tour this time, so fewer shows, but the set-up looks tremendous.  I last saw my boys in 2005 - both nights in Atlanta, and on Saturday night odabee_jones and myself were on the rail on ( Read more... )

How fun for you and I really feel like the review of the album was professionally done, as well written as it was; Bono sounds like he's coming to terms with what must have been a difficult thing, the aging of his voice.

Hehe, so much for prompt replies on my part!

Unfortunately, RL has interrupted my continued delving in the album. I have gotten close to a few more songs, but it will be a while yet before I know it all.

Yeah, poor Bono's voice just isn't what it used to be, and that's a shame. At least they're using it more effectively now.

BTW, you icon...exerting!Obi...*gunh*

He's doing an over the shoulder judo flip of a bad guy in the remarkably good Clone Wars comic. Dark Horse gets my bucks, about twelve per month.

Thanks for the review! I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. :)

I used to obsessively record all their TV appearances...youtube has made that virtually unecessary now, and I must say I'm glad. :)

Enjoy the album!

Oh, nice concert memories! We were right at the front the last time I saw them as well. The girl beside me was 21 on that day, and she had a balloon tied to her top. Bono noticed the balloon, came right over to where we were and untied her balloon. I can't remember if he said anything to her or not, because I was too busy going "OMG BONO OMG" but I do know she didn't stop shaking for a LONG time. Bono, Edge and Adam liked the wee stage we were stood beside because they hardly left it all night. *_*

I haven't had a chance to listen to the album yet. I have bought it! But my mum borrowed it before I got to listen.

You are a triple true Bono U2 fan.
I don't think I would stand in a line for 16 hours in the freezing weather, even for Bob Seger. BUT I would for EWAN.

What a wonderful deal for you that he got so close to you.
I am sure you were totally thrilled.

Sounds like a great night all around....
