Karl Marx broke my television.

The saga of the broken television continues, and oh but what a comedy of errors it has turned out to be.  We're on Day 9 of no bigscreen, but G and I did watch SPN on the wee watch-size telly in his room, which actually turned out to be fun, since we just laid on the bed together all propped up with pillows like a slumber party.  And I should ( Read more... )

I look forward to deconstructing the universe over non functioning press 'n' seal bags of shredded cheese when you come over. We can debate how the demand for convenience and the demand for low cost is mutually exclusive as we completely tear the bag apart and jam the whole thing down in a zip lock anyway and how that's just a thread in the tapestry of the larger issue that America's sense of entitlement is at war with and possibly defeating America's notion of "Can Do"

But then we can just say fuck it and get back to more pressing matters like whether Incubi look for tartar control or whitening in a toothpaste or does Sephiroth pin his socks together before they go in the wash.

*grins* Sorry to spam but that mental image ---- whether Incubi look for tartar control or whitening in a toothpaste or does Sephiroth pin his socks together before they go in the wash.
---- made me choke on my orange juice. hahahah.

And also made me wonder whether poor Sephi takes a lot of flack from incubi and other fallen angel sorts because he only has one wing. Are they cruel like that? Is that the reason for him acting out -- all the repressed angst from his childhood? *ponders*

all sephi has to do is break out the genderswitch!materia and the ball's back in his court.

....

o.O

wait...I think I shot myself in the foot with that joke. Now all I can see is Sephiroth dancing through the forest with ribbons in his hair.

Izzi says Sephi can only fly in a circle. That slays me.

*dies*

Lol, here's a question for you, since you're more of a Sephi expert than myself. I've seen some images of him where he has both arms AND the one wing.... and others where the wing replaces one arm.

If the latter is true, how do you think he finds shopping for gloves? I can imagine Cloud opening a closet in Sephi's place and being buried in a mountain of discarded gloves now..... hehehe.

*munches on popcorn and admires the new layout*

I can't believe that your poor TV won't get fixed for another week! Are they at least fixing it for free since whatever they did the last time to it obviously didn't take? I should certianly hope so!! *is huffy in defense of wife*

I love that this TV trauma has turned into an active example of political theory. haha... is there a thesis in that, do you think? *grins* It irks me, personally, that for most things nowadays it's actually cheaper to buy a new one than repair the old one. But that's neither here nor there.

Um... *coughs delicately* I turn my stuffed animals to watch the TV with me as well. Especially Catbus. He comforts me when things start to go wrong in SPN land. ((and i cuddle him when a certain otp-licious pair start arguing as well)). So I gots to say that I'm with G on this one....... hahaha, and I can picture our favourite academic doing that as well, now that I think about it. *pats him fondly*
