I'm no friend to either party, but Republicans are really showing their asses more and more these days.  And they are not pretty.  The shitstorm conservatives are raising over healthcare reform is astoundingly absurd, ugly, and worst of all, irresponsible.  Oh, and galactically uninformed.

Meanwhile here if I were to come down with something catastrophic, something requiring a long hospital stay, it would likely bankrupt me. 0__o

*hugs tightly* Just don't listen to those mean old stupid Republicans that are screaming about TEH EVOL GUVMINT coming between you and your doctor. They are just fear-mongering. Right now we've got insurance companies preventing people from getting healthcare and that's bad enough.

The reforms are aimed at lowering costs for everyone, especially people in your situation. The only tax increases that have been mentioned by the White House are on family incomes over $300,000 (or $1 million, they haven't decided).

Joor wee bebbehs will be fine.
