Ugh. It seems like even when we win one, we still lose. Poor Jeri...

But now at least we've got a Mega on our team too. It looks like Goggle Head beat me to the punch again! Jeez, I really must be slipping or something.

Not only did Takato manage to evolve Guilmon to Mega, but it's like they merged somehow. Gallantmon was both Guilmon and Takato. ( Read more... )

Lately I think that fighting means no one ever really wins.

Depends on what kind of battle your fighting.

That was.... Well we knew that Impmon had something against humans because of something that happened with his tamer, but I never thought...

I bet you could do it, Rika! I...just hope Guilmon and I can do it again easily.

*Is not really that annoyed with Takato for beating her to the next level again, so she's not going to take it that way*

I'm sure you'll figure out how it works now that you have. Just don't expect to be the only Mega for long. No way am I letting you outstage me that easily Goggle Head. *is smirking as she says this*

A "Mega"?

Yeah.

You see, Digimon have this thing we call digivolution which allows them to change into more powerful forms to fight stronger opponents. Most digimon who have tamers are Rookie level by default, but with our help they can change to Champion and Ultimate when they need to. Mega is the highest form, but none of us have been able to reach it until now.

Ah... And their names change when they change form?

Yeah, and sometimes digimon of the same "species" can have different evolution paths from one individual to another, based on their personality and their tamer's influence. It's kinda like what happened to Wargrowlmon back there when Takato forced him to evolve when they were both angry. That's he ended up becoming Megidramon first. If Takato had been thinking clearly, that wouldn't have happened, but I don't really blame him considering what set him off.
