Thank you! I am supposed to get a DVD at some point, and I am really excited! Except for the one dress rehearsal I never really got to see the whole thing, including her dancing.
Wow, this is gorgeous! I love how everything comes together. And even more perfect that she actually is a ballerina because that really finishes the look. And thank you for mentioning finishing the leather with puff paint! I had never thought of that and have been wanting to make a leather purse for forever but didn't want it to not look professional, I think this is my answer to that! :) Yay!
Thank you! I was very happy they were able to find fashion models that could dance and act. They picked her specifically for the part, as well as some of the other characters. The guys playing Raul and Phantom had a dance/sword fight.
There are special paints used for finished the edges of leather you can get, I just wasn't able to find one in silver. The only downside is the puff paint cracks with age much faster than the real edge paint.
